Important Measuring Points

Most carpets are available in widths of 4m and 5m, there are some ranges that offer multi widths, you must always consider a +/- 1% tolerance on all widths.
Measure the widest points of the room.
Allow for doorways, alcoves, bay windows & recesses.
We recommend to add 10cm to all measurements.
You may be able to use off cuts on stairs or other areas.
It is advised that the pile on all carpet is connecting rooms runs in the same direction to maintain texture & colour consistency.
Lay carpet in a single piece where possible.
Avoid seams/joins in heavy wear area’s.
It is advised you purchase all the carpet you need for connecting rooms at the same time due to batch colour differences.
Carpet in different widths & carpet pile weight can vary in colour.
The pile of landing carpet should run in the same direction as the stairs. Make sure you measure to include the whole riser.
